Well thats what happend. It decideds to wait till the day after christmas to snow. This mini snowstorm only lasted about 3-4 hours dumping 4" of snow. It all melted as soon as the sun came out.

A devastating ice storm struck Oklahoma Dec. 11-12. This storm dumped freezing rain over metropolitan areas for 3 days, snapping trees, knocking out power to millions, and creating choas on area roadways!

A ground blizzard developed in the OKC area, producing minimum visibilites for drivers. Heavy snow and blowing winds continued through the late evening hours resulting in 2-3" of snow.

This classic supercell thunderstorm developed rapidly along the dry line to my SW. This storm moved directly overhead, dumping hail the size of golfballs covering the ground! The storm was then tornado warned shortly after the video was shot, producing several brief tornadoes in Choctaw, OK.
